First off, yes this was obviously extremely referenced from the teaser trailer~ Oh my god, Hiccusufdsoifs---

I don't even know where to begin with this. I've basically been checking online every day since May for the How to Train Your Dragon 2 teaser, so when it finally was released today... _{Technically yesterday since it's passed midnight, but who cares. |D} Let's just say that I was sobbing of happiness from the moment I clicked on the link.

The animation, lighting, soundtrack, just... everything about it looks absolutely gorgeous.♥
Toothless's various expressions made me smile. Especially the one after he and Hiccup perform that spin. xD
Hiccup's voice made me smile like it usually does, too. One of my greatest fears is that they wouldn't have Jay voice Hiccup in the newest movie, but luckily I didn't have to worry about that for too long. ^^

As if the teaser wasn't already good enough... When they finally show Hiccup's face at the end...
I was expecting this since I basically already read what the trailer was going to include on BerksGrapevine, but I didn't expect Hiccup to look so... I don't know... ;///; Amazing.

That little bashful smile (yes, I did pause the video multiple times to catch that~ x'3) while he's flattening out his hair before lifting his head up, I don't even know if the sounds I made were human. x"D Especially while drawing this and using the reference, I realized how great Dreamworks did while aging this guy. Sure, some of the fans may not be ready for him to grow up yet, but look at him guys~ Look closely and he's still our little Hiccup. He has the same face, nose, eyes, just perfectly matured enough to make him look older in my opinion. Yes, crazy Hiccup freckle fans *cough* like me *cough*, I did include his freckles in this picture if you look closely enough. xD It was also pretty hilarious because my mom happened to be in the same room as me when I was watching the trailer. However at this point, she didn't even question me. |D

On a different note, I had a wonderful time drawing this. It took about three hours overall to complete, but it was worth every second. My music inspiration was obviously a little bit of the Tarzan soundtrack, but most of the time I listened to the HTTYD soundtrack. Forbidden Friendship in particular.♥ The soundtracks are so lovely. I always end up feeling the need to watch the movie every time I listen to them. >3>

Well I won't ramble on too much, but I can assure you that you will be seeing more of Hiccup in future deviations.
Hopefully we'll all be able to get some more sneak peeks soon, too. c; Ruffnut? Tuffnut? >3<
